Canyoning (Canyoneering) in Badian, Cebu, Philippines! The Best Adventure I had so far!
Canyoning (known as canyoneering in the U.S.) is traveling in canyons using a variety of techniques that may include other outdoor activities such as walking, scrambling, climbing, jumping, abseiling (rappelling), and swimming. I did not have an idea what it is, all I am for, is to travel and explore! As explained to us by the guide, Mr. Choy, this is an extreme adventure sports. As defined by Wikipedia above, that is Canyoning or Canyoneering! I was excited! The trip to Badian would be around 4-5 hours from Cebu South Terminal via bus. We stayed in Moalboal the night before so we will be able to get to Badian, earlier the following day. Badian will be about an hour trip from Moalboal.
