I have been guilty of procrastination myself, but I don't want to continue doing it forever. I need to step up and outgrow that defeating trait. So this one right here is for myself and those of you who also, most of the time, procrastinate! Let's enjoy learning and outgrowing procrastination. We've seen how perfectionism can cause procrastination and discourage us from taking on a job until we're sure we can do it with an unreasonably high level of quality. Boredom can also be a culprit. Sometimes we think we just can't bear the tedium of certain jobs. Most creative types don't like the monotony of keeping things organized. And let's face it - most of the organizing process is not a hoot.  But staying organized often opens the door to more creativity. Tips on How to be Productive

Today has been a great day! I have several things to do, but have accomplished them all today too! While I shared previously about the importance of making a decision , I just want to give my personal thoughts as an addition.  I have the following things lined up today: Be one of the adjudicators in the debate for the Philosophy class. Of course this requires my attention and explaining rules also coming up a verdict later on. Present our organizational development of an organization as a requirement in Human Resource Development. This requires presenting our evaluation and be ready for the questions that could possibly be thrown at us after the presentation. Attend a Board meeting . This requires my professional presence (of mind and body), while interacting, discussing (arguing), and coming up sound decisions for the organization. Attend class to consolidate work for the Management Information System research.  Submit requirements for Japanese Language. This...

Do you put off until tomorrow what you should have done yesterday? When you kill time, you kill those callings God has placed within you. The Living Bible's version of Ecclesiastes 11:4 says, "If you wait for perfect conditions, you will never get anything done." The first step to overcoming procrastination is to eliminate all the reasons and excuses for not taking immediate action. Everyone is on the move. People are moving forward, backward, and sometimes nowhere at all as though they are on a treadmill. The mistake most people make is thinking that the main goal of life is to stay busy. Such thinking is a trap. What is important is not whether you are busy, but whether you are progressing. the question is one of activity versus accomplishment.
